Disney World Wait Times: Presidents' Day, Mardi Gras, and Valentine's Day Crowds (2026)

Disney World's Magical Weekend: A Tale of Three Holidays and Long Waits!

Imagine a perfect storm of holidays colliding at Walt Disney World, creating an extraordinary weekend adventure. Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, and Mardi Gras all converged in a few days, leading to some seriously lengthy waits for Disney enthusiasts. But here's where it gets controversial: is this a unique phenomenon, or a sign of things to come?

Disney World Wait Times: A Detailed Breakdown

As the clock struck 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the magic was in full swing, but so were the waits. Tiana's Bayou Adventure, usually a chillier affair, saw a whopping 95-minute wait, one of its longest in recent memory. Slinky Dog Dash, Test Track, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror all clocked in at over an hour, with the latter reaching a staggering 130 minutes. Space Mountain, unfortunately, was down, which might explain the longer lines elsewhere.

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and TRON Lightcycle Run both hit the 90-minute mark, while Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios kept guests waiting for a solid 95 minutes. And this is the part most people miss: Rock 'n' Roller Coaster's imminent closure for a Muppets reimagining might have contributed to the crowds.

Other notable waits included 80 minutes for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and 85 minutes for Avatar Flight of Passage and Jungle Cruise. While these waits might be expected during peak seasons like summer or winter holidays, they're certainly unusual for mid-February.

Looking Ahead: Spring Break and Beyond

Though wait times may dip in the coming week, we're fast approaching Spring Break season, which will undoubtedly send waits skyrocketing. So, did you brave the crowds at Disney World this weekend?
